Section 19
Registration of nomination papers
(1) The candidate's nomination paper must be submitted by the candidate himself or his representative or proposer or supporter to the concerned election officer.
(2) The relevant election officer shall check whether the nomination paper submitted in accordance with sub-section (1) is duly registered or not according to this Act, and if it is duly registered, it shall be given to the person bringing the nomination paper for registration.
(3) If the election officer brings for registration a nomination paper that does not have a proposer or supporter, or the proposer or supporter is repeated, or does not have a bond in accordance with this Act, or does not have a correct stamp of the proposer or supporter or the candidate, or is not delivered in any other way, such nomination paper shall be corrected and registered. In this way, if you want to register the nomination paper without changing the behavior that should be corrected, you should mention the same behavior in the nomination paper and inform the person who registered the nomination paper.
(4) The election officer shall publish the list of candidates whose nomination papers have been registered on the date, time and place specified in the notification of the election program after the deadline for filing nomination papers.
(5) A candidate or his/her representative who wishes to file a complaint regarding the qualifications of a candidate mentioned in the list published in accordance with sub-section (4) may file a complaint before the election officer on the date, time and place specified in the notification of the election program.
(6) Other documents to be submitted by the candidate along with the nomination paper shall be as prescribed.
